Sympathy Announcement - Dan McInnes

Dan McInnes

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dan McInnes over the Christmas holidays.

Dan and his late wife, Millie, had been valued members of the London Curling Club since 1989. Dan assisted with Learn To Curl as a coach for many years and truly enjoyed teaching the game to new curlers. Until this season, when a knee problem kept him off the ice, Dan would curl almost every day with the Senior Daytime Men. When he couldn't curl he would come out to watch and spend time socializing with his curling buddies.

His family wrote..."Through the years his passion for curling has been infectious and has led to great joy in maintaining an active lifestyle, related travel adventures with Millie and many treasured friendships. To know him was to respect him."

The family invites friends to join them in a celebration of Dan's life to be held at the London Curling Club on Saturday, May 20, 2023
